The American native’s (born to Nigerian folks) brand of groundbreaking electronic, dream-pop, funk-synth dance. Nothing like her. But if we had to we’d say Santigold mixed with Grace Jones and a pinch Julian Casablanca.
Her story is as whimsical as her tunes. Released on September 29, 2023, through Good Luck Have Fun Records and distributed by AWAL. Her 1980s influenced introduction to the world has been described as “sound like a cursed Victorian ghost, doomed to live in heartbreak for all of eternity. Fleshes out her sound, highlighting a promising young artist in the age of internet virality.”
