All year we’ve been zephyring around The Go-Go’s (2020) Showtime Documentary film and now it’s arrived and we are streaming it!
So let’s gather around the screen and celebrate the pioneers of the L.A. punk scene. Charlotte Caffey (lead guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Belinda Carlisle (lead vocals), Gina Schock (drums), Kathy Valentine (bass and vocals), and Jane Wiedlin (guitar and vocals).
It all started in 1981 with a debut album entitled, Beauty and the Beat, featuring the monster smash hit “Our Lips Are Sealed” and “We Got the Beat.”
