British Starboy Ben Haenow covers an acoustic ‘Heart of Glass’ cover by masters of music, icons Blondie!
Ben Haenow stripped down a moody acoustic take on thee legendary 1979 track. ‘Heart of Glass’ by Blondie has been remixed and remade countless times and rightfully so.
We last took an ear gander too mister Haenow back in the early 2010s when he dueted with Kelly Clarkson on a favorite tune of ours, “Second Hand Heart”.
Ben Haenow said the following about the project: “I wanted to do a chilled acoustic version of ‘Heart of Glass’ by Blondie because I’ve always really liked the lyrics to the song. I feel like they lend themselves to a more heartfelt and stripped back version of the original track. It’s really cool to be featured on the ‘Café Covers’ album from Double J Music and to be alongside artists like Emma Bunton and Jack Savoretti.“’
