Inspired by the likes of The Strokes, Buffalo, New York, lo-fi poptastic-rock bots Johnny & The Man Kids have unleashed a yummy new first single from their brand new spankin’ EP, “You Made Me Hurt.” The electrifying catchy number entitled “Before” is as energetic as a Tasmanian devil.
Full of overblown pulsating distortion, with far-out distorted lead vocals to match. Along is a frantic and adrenaline filled pop chorus with a melody so sweet it puts a bowl full of strawberries with sugar to shame.
Again if anyone is a fanatic like ourselves of The Strokes, this will find a very pleasing bed in your eardrums. There is most definitely something to groove here.
