Last Week We Told About Fiona Apple’s First Live Performance In Over 3 Yrs At
This Past Weekend’s New Yorker Festival! Debuting 3 New Songs Off Her 2020
Critically Acclaimed “Fetch the Bolt Cutters”.
Fiona unleashed her opus album in April when the planet was in complete lockdown. As a result those innovative tunes never saw life on tv/promo press appearances or on tour. She didn’t go down the path of livestreaming as other fellow creators have this year.
Finally though, at the New Yorker’s virtual
festival over this past weekend, she finally unleashed a spectacular live-debut. Featuring three tunes from the pioneering album. Those sonics included “I Want You to Love Me”, “Shameika” and the title track record.
Fiona also spilled some chitter-chatter with New Yorker writer Emily Nussbaum. Miss Apple talked not only about the musique but about her recently narrated short film that showcases how to document ICE arrests.
