Growing up as an adolescent in the 90’s, I still recall certain fashion images juxtaposed in classic chic and grunge. John F. Kennedy Jr, obviously chose to go with an American fashion style, made up of minimalistic threads.
The year was 1997, and alongside John was his wife, Carolyn Bessette, as they strolled their pup on the beautiful streets of NY. The photo opt above, truly defines and captures what this family legacy was all about. Whether it was in fashion or politics, this family stood for change. Change is dangerous because lots of folks in this country (US land of the free, pshh) don’t welcome it. Both individuals chose basic ensembles, with a tad uplift of minimalistic prints. What a lovely stroll around the neighborhood on a day that looked quite chilly.
