Mary J. Blige is taking us on a rollercoaster of memory lane in the brand sparkling new documentary trailer for her upcoming feature. Entitled after one of her most iconic albums, “My Life”.
Amazon Prime Video brought the public and Mary J Fandemonium first look at the new visuals where the legendary songstress reflects on her critically acclaimed 1994 album.
Based on a press released synopsis: “The songstress, producer and actress reveals the demons and blessings that inspired the record and propelled her from the soul-crushing world of New York’s housing projects to international stardom. Describing My Life is probably my darkest album at one of the darkest times I’ve had yet most successful time in my career”.
This also follows the official 25th anniversary of “My Life” featuring exclusive cameo clips from multiple artists such as Taraji P. Henson and Alicia Keys.
Directed by filmmaker Vannessa Roth and Sean “Diddy” Combs as producer. Alongside Mary as the the executive music producer is a little gentleman who also happens to be a rare EGOT Winner (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) and all-around OG genius, forget-just-talented, Quincy Jones!
