Long-time producer Salaam Remi has been dipping and doing it in the game for decades now. Through the years he’s collaborated with the Fugees, Whitney Houston, Jazmine Sullivan, Miguel, and several others. He produced Ini Kamoze’s “Here Comes The Hotstepper,” a superb stellar #1 single of the 1990s.
And although he’s accomplished so much with all these various folks, Salaam Remi shall always be iconically known for his work with two specific artists. An ItsNotYouItsMe forever favorites Amy Winehouse and rapper Nas. Now he’s unleashed a brand new tune with the two giants together.
Remi who has created musique with Nas since the late 1990s, he’s rumored to be the first authentic established artist who ever worked with Amy. Remi not only produced Winehouse’s 2003 debut record, Frank, and he along with Mark Ronson co-produced Amy ’s iconic and legendary treasure, the genius, Back To Black album!
On a yummy new song entitled “Find My Love,” Remi has rediscovered some past unreleased Winehouse vocals and mixed them with new Nas sonics. This originally manifested from a jam session that she recorded with Remi.
