When we came across OK Go’s latest video for the lead single “I Won’t Let You Down” we thought we’ve seen it all and we didn’t really plan on clicking play but boy are we glad we did! The catchy indie disco song is a fresh move for the now 17 (!) year old band and the video is a creative masterpiece.
Shot in Tokyo with one take (50 and 60 takes) and recorded by a aerial drone the video employs hundreds of dancers including Japanese electro pop group Perfume at the start of the video.
It’s been called a modern day Gene Kelly routine by the band and its a fitting tribute even without any feet! Watch it all below.
